Philip Holden Executive Chairman
Philip qualified as a solicitor in 1990 and became a licensed insolvency practitioner
in 2001. A fellow of the association of business recovery professionals, Philip has
extensive experience in high value debt litigation and insolvency actions. He was a
partner with a major law firm before moving to become Head of Financial Recovery at
Lloyd’s of London and subsequently establishing his own independent business specialising
in insurance run-off. Philip leads the strategic development of Drydens.

Tamsin Cooper Director of Legal (Litigation)
Tamsin qualified as a solicitor in 1997 with a national law firm. She obtained her Higher Rights
of Audience (Civil Courts) in 2001. Tamsin’s expertise includes banking and mortgage litigation,
consumer credit, breach of contract claims and sale of goods
disputes. Tamsin is responsible within the firm for regulatory compliance and leads our strategic
client relationship programme supervising all CRM related activities.

Philip Harling Director of Legal (Property)
Philip was formerly a partner in a national law firm where he was head of the firm's
Leeds property department for a number of years. He has a wealth of experience in
advising developers, landlords and lenders on all aspects of property law. As well
as supervising the team responsible for possession sales and LPA Receiver services,
Philip handles more complex, high value, or problematic cases.

Vicki Pollard Chief Operating Officer
Vicki leads the Executive Team and is responsible for the running of the day-to-day
business and financial operations. She qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1988 with
PKF and worked in private practice before moving into the financial services sector
where she held a number of senior accounting positions. As well as her role as Chief
Operating Officer Vicki is responsible for all aspects of financial control and financial
planning including client accounting under the Solicitors' Accounts Rules.

Arlene Rutter Director of Operations
Arlene has over 20 years’ experience at a senior managerial level within financial organisations
ranging from Abbey to First Direct. Her substantial operational expertise spans in-house services
to full out-sourcing services. Arlene has significant experience of structural and operational
change and a strong track record of revolutionising business results through project management
skills and her openness to challenge the status quo.

Steve Heighway Director of Business Development
Steve has spent over 20 years in debt recovery managing both operational and sales teams.
He was responsible for introducing a pre-litigation department into DLA Piper and subsequently
spent over 15 years developing their debt collection business in Bradford with responsibility
for telephone collections, litigation, repossession and insolvency services. Following the
creation of Optima Legal Steve oversaw the successful integration of recovery departments
in both Newcastle and Glasgow before moving to HL Interactive at the end of 2009. He is a
member of the Institute of Credit Management and specialises in creating innovative
solutions for consumer and corporate lenders.

Tim Pope Director of Legal (Insolvency)
Tim qualified as a solicitor in 1982 and spent time as a partner both with DLA (Leeds and London) and
Hammonds (London) before joining forces with Philip Holden in LCL Law. A licensed insolvency practitioner,
Tim handles both contentious and non contentious insolvency work. His extensive experience in corporate
and personal insolvency is a major advantage for the large financial institutions and insolvency practitioners
represented by Drydens where recovery of unsecured and secured assets becomes ever more challenging in
the current environment.
